Lottie meets four national callers!

Lottie checking in again.  Pat Goldston of Marietta, GA, passed me on November 17 to Marcia Boardman, who took me to the 37th Annual Turkey Strut in Pigeon Forge, TN.   The festival was held at the Grand Hotel & Convention Center, November 19-20, 2010.

At this festival, she passed me on to Gladys Brown.   Gladys lives in Ocala, FL, and dances several times a week in the area near her home, including The Villages.   Even more exciting, she also travels to festivals.  She will be dancing with many dancers from other areas of the country and will pass me on to another fun dancer. So cool! These square dancers are great hosts!

Marcia took six pictures of my experiences in Pigeon Forge.  I am  with the first square in the Advanced Hall on Friday, November 19. The square includes Gladys and her partner, Gil Masson (both of Florida), Carol & Cliff Bach of Bethlehem, GA, Elizabeth & Grover Loggins of Clarkesville, GA, and Brian and Marcia (me) Boardman of Lawrenceville, GA.

In the other pictures, I am with all four Turkey Strut National Callers – Johnny Preston, Jerry Biggerstaff, Tony Oxendine, and Jerry Story.

I had a great time in Pigeon Forge and am looking forward to dancing in Florida.
